Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

QUESTION: What are the payment policies and age restrictions for open practice?

ANSWER:

PAYMENT POLICIES AND AGE RESTRICTIONS

The underlying principle: “Everyone who trains pays”

Age restrictions and supervisors

Children aged 0–7 must be accompanied by an adult guardian or supervisor (children under 10 must be supervised when using the trampoline).

A guardian or supervisor does not need to pay the admission fee if they are not participating in the activity. We allow one guardian or supervisor per child to enter free of charge.

The guardian or supervisor is responsible for ensuring the child’s safety while working out at Skillz Gym. For young users, we recommend scheduling visits at times when there aren’t many other people in the gym. This makes working out safer.

We do not recommend that children under 3 years of age use the trampoline.

Children aged 8 and older do not need a guardian or supervisor during practice (note: an exception applies to the trampoline, where a supervisor is required for children under 10), but the guardian is responsible for the child’s safety during practice at Skillz Gym.

Skillz Gym does not have active supervision in the workout areas, so we recommend working out in pairs or small groups.

Coaches, choreographers, personal trainers, etc.

Alone = normal fee

Together with the person(s) being coached = no charge if the coach does not participate in the training session

Question: How does Skillz Gym work?

ANSWER:

GENERAL RULES OF THE HALL

1. Practice your skills safely

2. Be considerate of other trainees

3. No eating in the exercise areas

4. Don't litter

RULES FOR THE ACROBATICS AREA

1. Avoid working out alone

2. Please perform the aerial acrobatics one at a time

3. One at a time into the vault pit (without shoes)

4. One at a time on the trampolines (without shoes)

5. Use of the competition trampoline

To use the trampoline, you must have prior experience jumping on a trampoline. Our trampoline is a large competition trampoline, so it has more bounce than standard trampolines, and therefore special care must be taken when using it.

Skillz Gym does not have active supervision in the workout areas, so we recommend working out in pairs or small groups.

Question: Do I need to set aside a specific time or area for free practice?

ANSWER:

For open practice, you must reserve a spot and time in the gyms, but not in the main hall (acrobatics area, canvas, and mats 1 & 2).

You can find more information here.

You can only make simultaneous reservations for one area per time slot, but you can book multiple consecutive time slots in either the same or different areas. In other words, you can book Room 1 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and Room 2 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, but you cannot book both rooms simultaneously from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

We reserve the right to cancel open training reservations if necessary. You will always be notified of any cancellations personally, either by email or text message.
